Click Start, Run, and type msconfig and click OK
Under the startup tab you will see all the programs that startup with your computer. You can uncheck the ones that you don't want to startup. if you change anything, when you reboot you'll get a prompt saying that you've changed your startup settings, click the box that says "don't show this again or launch the system configuration again" and click OK
OR
download http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/Autoruns.html
A great utility that tells you everything and more about what gets loaded when you startup windows.

without installing anything, you can go to start, run, and type in msconfig, then go to the tab that says "startup"

Not sure of the question here.
Download "SpyBot Search & Destroy" and install it.
(Free)
Use the "Advanced" option, and check start-up there.
Does this help?
