This is not an issue, has Sharad Powar said anything, no comments. It was all media hype, they need something to publish badly.

Australians were excited after the win. They won Champanions Trophy first time, so they were excited little bit and Rameez Raza forget to annonce .............!!!! leave this topic here itself.. No issue at all.

I strongly feel that Ricky Ponting should apologise to Sharad Pawar for the indecent behaviour.

I think Ricky Ponting should lose his head on the guillotine and the rest of the australian team should be hanged to death for that kinda insult. Look at the bright side , no aussies in the 2007 world cup :) :)

To relate the issue to Australian indecency is not correct. It is an individual who has not maintained the decorum and pushed a celebrity. It is altogether unwarranted.
Winning the trophy was great particularly after the jeering of the crowd. But these things cannot be in anyway prompt Australian player to push the Indian celebrity. This is ridiculous. In no way the Australian player, who has done it, should feel elated after this act of indecency. But we Indians should not shun our decency towards our guests.

I am more pained to see some of the remarks in this column which shows indifference towards a celebrity and who have not related the incidnce to national pride. Shocking!

well i think the aussies were too excited that they didnt notice tht they were neglecting mr.powar.
i dont think they were insulting him,coz i think all the team teams r well experienced n wid good manners coz its not their first victory as they won many world titles,
so may be its just negligence n joy of happiness.but if they feel they did something wrong they shld n must apologise coz mr. powar is a very honourable n respectable n elderly person of cricket organisation.

it's a non-issue and is being hyped up by the media to retain public interest in cricket after India's dismal show in CT-2006 ...

It was extremy rude of them to show this respect. i wonder if the australians would be happy if some one did a thing like this on their grounds. i think that even if it was at the moment of joy apology by aussies is in order.
