If Saddam's immorality and wickedness are to be the yardstick against which all our iniquities are judged, what does that say about us? We only sexually abused prisoners and killed a few of them and murdered some suspects and carried out a few rapes and illegally invaded a country which cost Iraq a mere 655,000 lives. I don't really feel happy when anybody dies no matter what they've done to me or someone else. I think the judges came to that conclusion because of America's pressure in the decision but from what I've seen on the news Iraqis seemed to be happy with the decision.

No,set him free he was framed by our government.Let his own people on the streets make the final choice.But it seems that the media we are fed is in support of his death! But of course it's our own little view of the world in a force fed media nut shell here in america news is being edited,censored, etc etc.Let him go there were no weapons of mass destruction to be found anywhere!!But it sure seems to be in Israels greasy hands still top secret and out of the media eyes.

Yes, some Iraqi's are sad for him. Those that didn't oppose him lived a good life under his rule; and that's all they know. But if you opposed him, ...wait, the opposers were killed by him, weren't they? Along with their children...I guess they're not here to express their happiness. So sad that some of your answerers are actually defending the mass genocideing maniac that gassed his own people.

I'm sure many people are sad for him ... I'm not one of them. He was found guilty by a jury of his peers and must now be held accountable for his many atrocities but I'd prefer to know he was rotting in some awful jail ... I'm am opposed to the death penalty,
