You also need to spray the outside of the house with ant killer. Spray around the kitchen window, foundation, any doorways, sidewalks, etc. You can get ant killer spray that is safe to use indoors. Spray under the sink, kick board, cupboards, behind the stove and fridge and everywhere. Keep spraying, you have to kill off a large population.

Try this. Clear the countertops and then leave a small amount of jelly and a small amount of meat (chicken is best) in two different areas. Overnight the scouts will find the bait and you will find a line of ants going back and forth. This will tell you where they're coming in. Then you seal the entrances with a latex caullking. If your kitchen has an exterior wall, you can also use the jelly outside to keep them busy there. Winter should cause them to go dormant soon, depending on where you live. Forget the pesticides and the traps, we're outnumbered a million to one. Good luck.

Keep putting the Terro out. Sometimes it might take awhile, but it will work. Some ants also repel at the smell of cucumber. Just lay a few peelings around where you think they might be coming in.

Ants become a nuisance when they enter homes. Instead of spending money on costly pest control, you can get rid of ants by removing the food source and using soap water. I found the information at http://tinyurl.com/mdhlm

Go to Wal-Mart or your harware store and buy some Seven Dust. Sprinkle it outside of your house. All around. It will keep all kinds of insects away and it works pretty much immediately. We use it at home and around our camper. We put some out several months ago and we still haven't had the ants around. We call them piss aunts or sugar aunts. Good Luck. Let me know if it works for you!

clean everything down with bleach, try to get all crumbs from crevices, move the stove, dishwasher, and anything can be moved. this should work if you get all crumbs, and if that doesn't work an exterminator should be able to help.
