I'm a freshmen in high school and I totally suck at science. I've failed every test yet still manage a B-, then I failed the last 2 assignments so I have a C+ now. What would be a good way to surprise my teacher with a great extra credit report or something to show him that I am actually good at science.

Work hard, turn in all assignments, and show that you're putting effort into your work, even if your answers may be wrong.

Like my History teacher says, "I don't care if you fail every stupid test in my class...if you turn in all your homework and classwork, and do the best you can on everything, I'm proud of ya'".

The teachers can see the effort.

You can join the Yuong Inventors Society in your local school to show to your teacher that she's wrong with her perception on you. Or thebest thing to do is to submit an invention to your school's Science Fair's. The best thing to do id to study in advance. Impress your teacher everytime you have class. You can use the internet to read about the background your subjects are all about. You dont need to be a nerd but reading a little while you're log on the net does not hurt at all. Try it if you like. My Chemistry class sucks too!! We have the same problem.... so we'll do it together!

What kind of science do you have? Well in my opinion, you could do a research paper on the topic/unit you guys are in. I'm sure that will count for somthing, and it will give you a better chance to pass the section/unit test without a problem! Take it from me, I did the same thing and now i have an "A" in chemistry. It's not an "A+", but I'm not failing the class either.

The truth is that then they did not know! In fact there is debate seen as long as 14 years ago (when Jurassic Park came out) that some dinosaurs are warm blooded. I think that based on the shape of the bones and appearance of eggs which suggested "lizard like" or amphibious thus their assumptions on how they looked liked. The color drawing and representations are just that- representations. Dinosaurs could have been as Purple as BARNEY or just plain green. We really dont know.
