It seemed to subtle the spike in gas prices all around the neighborhood. At first, I thought I was mistaken, but for the past week prices have held steady until today when all of a sudden they started to go up again. Is that a signal that once the election is over then it will be okay for the gas companies to raise prices again? Would that make it seem that the reason for the price decrease was because of the election after all?

Prices have risen here too. Actually the price of oil was still down when gas prices first started to rise. They usually rise when they increase the production of heating oil, we'll have to wait and see what the oil companies have to say for themselves.
