Does anyone know any good novels about samurai's, or just a good action or drama novel? Dark Gothic Novels as well?

(preferably with Asian Culture when it comes to action or drama. It can be without it as well.)

Last two novels I read were Memoirs of a Geisha and Interview with the Vampire. Loved interview with the vampire and i knew i would before reading because i love those kind of dark, dramatic, novels... as well as Memoirs of a Geisha. I've always been fascinated with the Asian Culture so I try to get my hand on all different types of great novels, even if it's anime or just some action book. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

There's a great series about samurais... It's by the author Lian Hearn, and the first book is called 'Across the Nightingale Floor", and I believe their are now four books out in this continuing story.

It must be noted though, that the beginning of the first book is a little slow, but after that it really picks up. It's so worth the read.

I used to work at a local bookshop, and we put these books in both the adult and young adult sections. We were just crazy about them.

Hope you enjoy!
