Would you get a job on the east coast? Or just be a couch potato? Keep house etc?

Have you met and dated the person on the east coast or is this an internet romance that you think you've fallen in love with? If you have not met the person or only met breifly, I would stay put and just plan on visiting the east coast til you get a better understanding of the person in real life.

If its a case of your boyfriend has moved away and you want to be with him, thats a different story and as someone else suggested, talk to him.

Another factor to consider, do you have family? job skills that are strong and can transfer to any job? Can you support yourself if the relationship didn't work out and you were on your own completely?

All things to consider.

You are asking the wrong people! Ask the person you love. You really need an honest discussion to evaluate the strength of the relationship before you make a commitment of this size. It could be either the best or the worst move of your life, depending on the type of response you receive.
Wishing you all the best with your decision and your future. :-)
