In 1983 I saw a news special where the Red Cross went to a Kurdish village that Saddam had ordered attacked using chemical weapons. People, elderly, women, children, lay in the streets where they were murdered. I saw a little girl laying on the street, she could not have been more than 5 or 6 years old, clutching a doll in one hand and her mothers hand in the other. Both mom and daughter were sprawled on the street burned to death by chemicals. Sad. Saddam needs to be executed for sure!

Saddam Hussein has led the life of more luxury than 10-rich men. He has had every luxury known to man, including power and extreme wealth. In return for this, he a dictator himself, along with a huge supply of chemical weapons supplied by his pals at the time the good old U.S. A., chose to end the lives of countless men, women & childern ! He should pay for the lives he has taken with his life. He and his sons were bastards !

Saddam probably deserves to be executed but in my opinion he should not be executed. No one has the right to take another life . Saddam was tried and found guilty of taking lives for this he was sentenced to have his life taken. somehow I find this ironic. would not the person who orders this execution be cast into the same lot as Saddam? He should be imprisoned for the rest of his life.

Well his victims aren't around to enjoy life. I almost felt sympathy for him facing his prosecutors until I heard the tale of just one survivor who was in jail w/10 other men. SH men marched in and took the 10 out for trial which took ONLY 1/2 hr. The men then were led back out and shot to death. Is just 10 people bad enough?
As for the bleeding hearts, there has to be a result displayed for such heinous crimes. Putting them in a room with food & TV's for us to support is not a deterrent for murderers.

He tried to kill Bush's dear old daddy. Another idiot, father like son. What's sad is that Bush didn't go after him for his crimes. He used American lives & wealth for personal revenge, so therefore Bush is no better than Hussein. Hang'em both.

All ultra-right wing dictators deserve to be killed, you know who you are...
Oh, and the Kurdish issue, but then again, if we were executing him for the Kurdish issue, we'd have to deal with turkey too...

I don't know every little thing that he has done, but I oppose the death penalty. If a person killed someone else and was put to death how does that make us any better than they are? I don't beleve that it is in our hands to end someones life. They aren't just going to stick a needle in his arm, or fill his lungs with poison gas, they are going to hang him. Every life deserves better than that. Murderer or not, they still feel pain, they still love as we love.
If a man killed his daughters rapist does he deserve to die?

No. He should be eaten alive piece by piece by the relatives of the victims, and not in one day little by little. He deserve a slow pass over, but with no possible reincarnation.

No more than Bush does. Both made decisions under the name of a presidency that resulted in the loss of life. If you are gonna hang one for it.....
