The reaction from faith hill when they announced carrie underwood's name as female vocalist of the year. it looked like faith said, "WHAT!?!?!" and the look on her face was appalling and then she just walked out of the camera's view. did anyone else see that?

Yes, she did look pissed, you are right. I replayed it a few times also. I would like to think of myself as a knowledgeable country music fan who watches,listens, and attends concerts. So I think I am qualified enough to answer this question. Regardless of the point of who deserved the award more, the fact of the matter still stands that Carrie won it, and truth probably be told that Faith probably would have acted that way if anyone except for her would have one. I thought that there were several different ways for someone who has been in front of the camera for years to know how to bow out graciously, even if she did feel like that. Everyone is entitled to their own feelings. Faith is a very accomplished singer no doubt, but she has had more than her moment to shine. The other nominees were nominated because they deserved the award also. Carrie is a very talented woman, who can go along way, I think that she is one of the most talented to come up new and fresh in county music in a long time. As far as how she got her foot in has nothing to do with it, everyone gets in by knowing someone, and American Idol is a people choice contest. So the people chose this year Carrie for Female Artist. Just my look on it.

Shame on Faith Hill!!! Even if you think Carrie Underwood didn't derserve the award (I think she did!), it is BETTER to be an "undeserving" winner than a SORE looser!!!! I lost a lot of respect for Faith Hill. Besides it isn't Carrie's fault she was chosen, she was chosen by 6000 of her peers at the CMA! Maybe all those "peers" know what a bad attitude Faith Hill has!!! Tacky, Tacky, Tacky.

No, I don't have cable and my local ABC won't come in. I went to my mother in law's and saw a little of the telecast. I really can't believe Carrie Underwood got both awards - I saw where she got the Horizon award. She is really good, and works hard, but there are so many others who are also deserving. Then again, Keith Urban continues to win awards and he is no where near as good as Toby Keith, who was ignored by the CMA. Just my opinion.

Yes the reaction was bad , but I agree with her I don't believe some fly by night singer should get the award its apparent other people think Carrie should have won it .
I believe the award should be based on past year performance and what they have done for country music , As she said herself two years ago she was sitting in front of the TV watching the CMA.
I don't believe she has put in the time to be top female in country music.

Faith Hill is a spoiled brat who should be so ashamed of herself! She should be happy for Carrie Underwood winning. Faith seems to forget that she was once new in music and when she won awards, she probably upset a lot of the older female musicians who were competing for the same award. I don't recall anyone of them having a look of disgust on their faces when she won! She is ungrateful and stuck on herself!

Yes, I did see it and I don't think that Faith Hill was joking, that reaction was a very pure reaction. I'm glad the Carrie Underwood won, she deserved it.

WHAT!! Was my reaction also....because I don't think that she should have even been nominated. With that being said...Faith was way out of line. Watch the reactions from Sara Evans she smiles and starts clapping as do Martina and Gretchen. SHAME ON FAITH HILL!

I saw it and I thought Faith was rude to act that way, but I rewatched it today and I saw that it was pretty obvious she was joking around--people need to get over it really.
Well at least Carrie won and NOT Faith.

at 1st, i lost all respect for faith. however, on a news station a clipping was showed of a past CMA's, when tim and faith were competting in the same category. when tim beat her for the award, she had the SAME EXACT RESPONSE. and then the camera cuts to her smilling, so....i truely do belive that she was kidding, but she needs to work on her sense of humor!!! to the rest of y'all, dont jump to conclusions like i did

If you watch it on YouTube....watch Faith Hill get all prepared to walk out on stage.....I can't believe she acted that way!
