Blaming the patriot act, etc.etc. seems to be either the work of simple minds, or the desires of stupid ones in blaming Bush for instituting some type of oppressive regime that has restricted Americans rights.

yet another brainwashed individual thinking conflict will a technique or the different bring about much less American deaths. i think of our algebra and background instructors could be screwing up someplace. the only freedom we combat for, is the liberty to blow the **** out of whoever we sense like, quite in pursuit of income. DUUUUUUUDE.... Robin Hood, heavily.... DO your EFFING study before you start up off asserting ****. maximum study places Iraqi deaths at OVER one hundred,000. regardless of the undeniable fact which you spin the mathematics, we are killing much extra harmless human beings than we are insurgents. And your words certainly sound VERY fascist. you do no longer basically call certainly everyone that disagrees with you a terrorist. LOL... P.Fcking.S. usa did no longer exist for the duration of "Bible circumstances," so how precisely is it that we will conflict for something that we did no longer exist for the duration of? Do you additionally be attentive to what a Capitalist is? LMAO. That has no longer something to do with the subject remember. I agree with your sentiments, and how the media has blown this out of proportion. But every time we get in a war, we seem to lose some control over the government. We lost much control with World War II. I'm trying to be rational about this, but I think the war on Terrorism calls for emotion. I think if Americans really saw the threat for what it really was, we would be insisting that we block the borders, scrutinize every inbound passenger into the U.S. and more. It's up to the American people, not some political party to wake up and realise that like it or not we are in World War III. I was concerned when we went into Iraq, because I was afraid that Iran would influence, or take over Iraq, and it looks like that's what's happening. We need to make sure that does not happen, but political parties are not going to help. We need the support of the American people.

The President seems to feel he can tap my phone without getting a warrant. The Administration feels they can lock me up, without ever charging me with a crime or even letting me speak to my lawyer.

I know you'll say, "that only applies to terrorists!" but you are wrong. Laws apply to everyone or they apply to no one. Powers such as these can be too easily abused. Forgive me if I refuse to entrust my cherished rights into Bush's hands. Do you really expect me to do so without complaint? Without protest? Only a fool would do so. Are you a fool? Anyone who can trust a politician so readily with his rights and without question is most certainly a very great fool.

I have lost no rights. I have kept most of my rights, Other than the one's I chosen to give up. I have done so that Americans will lose no more rights. The War on Terror has enabled ALL Americans to keep their rights. I wish there were more that understood that.

And it's not a war on terror idiot. If Bush really cared about terrorism he'd stop cutting deals with Saudi Arabia (the Bush's are best friends with them) the same country that still finances terrorism).

He wouldn't have tried handing over our ports to country's linked to terrorism. He wouldn't have gone into business with the Bin Ladens (Carlyle Group).

His daddy wouldn't have armed, trained, financed Bin Laden. His daddy wouldn't have armed and financed the Taliban. In fact I can't name a terrorist group that hasn't had help from the Bushes.

The certain hesitancy you feel before broaching a racial or politically centered statement or question should tell you that! To me it must be how people in Germany before world war 1 felt, so afraid they would be questioned. And as we know, anyone under suspect met terrible consequences. That's what's happening here in USA today. Are you blind and deaf?

do you know what the patriot act even is, buddy? because it is the reason we are losing our privacy. the idea of having the government listen in on my calls and read my emails is scary. and the possibility of enforcing a law in which we would have to carry around "papers" sounds pretty Nazi-ish to me. what has the war on terrorism caused you to gain, exactly? i would love to hear that one.
