http://www.tinfoil.com/e08136~.ram I love phonographs but I never knew a song was playing while the titanic went down. "Nearer My God To Thee" by The Edison Concert Band. What do you think it means? Is there maybe a connection from God and the sinking?

well, the rumor has it that the band was playing cheerful music early on, and as the ship went down, one member stayed behind and began playing Nearer my God to thee, and the rest of the band joined in. I don't know if it's true, but it's a certainly wonderful story

In the words of Jaime Brockett, who wrote the song 'the Voyage of the USS Titanic' this. "It was midnight on the sea, the band was playing 'Nearing my God to Thee', Fare thee well Titanic, fare thee well."
