i recieved a call from 1-888-816-9952 and asking me to respond and they me some sort of file number. i dont know who they are and they dont say anything about there company. and the freaky thing is, is that i just got this new cell phone number and never gave out yet.

888 numbers are usually solicitation calls. I don;t answer calls unless I know the number or at least the area code. I certianly wouldn;t call these people back.... they probably want to sell you something.

I think that they might have dialed the wrong number, or they could have been dialing at random. Wait and see if they call a couple more times. If you keep missing their calls, start carrying your phone at all times, and check messages every now and then.

its simple that don't pick up next time b/c even i am also receiving some spanish phone calls and i don't know any spanish person.

report it to the police ,and tell them that you got a new phone and you don't know why these people calling you.And have the police to investigate it.
