Have you ever gone swimming without your clothes in a cold mountain stream???

Absolutely! You don't want to go in with your clothes on or you won't have anything dry to put on when you get out. It's darn cold too. Rarely does the water temp get even close to 40 degrees in a running mountain stream in the Rockies. Boy does it wake you up and make you take notice too! I once swam across a mountain lake at well over 10K ft. up. It was great until I realized I had to swim back to get my clothes or go mountain climbing in the nude to get back to them. :o)

No but I jumped into a swimming pool with a thin sheet of ice on top in the middle of winter (in Utah) in my bathing suit. Made my heart skip a couple of beats but it was exhilarating!
