so its factoring.this is hella easy.10x+40 is 10(x+4)
so the answer is 10(x+4)there you go

10x+40=10(x+4)
if you have to solve for x it equals -4

take out the most common factor out from 10 and 40, which happens to be 10

so its 10(x+4)
