How do I find out the rating in watts of my power supply, without opening the case?

It's probably written on the label on the back of the supply, near the power cord.

It's almost never shown on the outside. You usually need to remove the top or side cover to see it. It's just a couple of screws.

Should be on the label on end plug.

You can't... unless it's written next to the AC plug.
