Can Linux play games OK? I'm anti-windows/mac and want to learn more.

Linux can play *some* games, using a program called WINE, and another called Cedega.

Some games (One's that use OpenGL and Direct3D rendering methods as opposed to DirectX, such as Unreal Tournament and Quake 3) are linux ready straight out of the box.

Yes Linux can play games and a lot of publishers are starting to make Linux version but if you want to play the majority of games that are out you are stuck with Windows. The only other real option is to goto a console.

your better off sticking with windows cause all games play on it if u meet requirements. y even have linux what good r they compared to mac and windows (here is my rating list from best to worse 1-windows 2-mac 3-linux)
