All babies are different. The milestone charts are just guidelines. My daughter didn't have the grasp reflex when she was first born, either. She was also five weeks premature, though. She developed that reflex when she was about three weeks old, I think. And she still has it; she's five months old now. I think that you shouldn't start worrying unless the baby is several weeks old and still doesn't have that reflex. Ask your pediatrician just to be sure. :)

that should be of little concern lack of a grasp reflex is nothing be happy the child is healthy

THAT S NOT NE THING TO WORRY ABOUT, THEY MAY NOT DEVELOP A GOOD REFLEX OR GRASP UNTIL ABOUT 2 MONTHS!
