Justice is put in the hands of men under the direction of God. Justice cannot be done to Saddam Hussy. He tortured and killed and ordered rapes and children being shot in front of their parents. He will never suffer enough to atone for this. The purpose of the death penalty is to deter other criminals from doing all that they please. It is also to bring some measure of justice to the families of the murdered. To answer those who think they can quote the Bible for liberal values of life, when God said Do not kill in the ten commandments, it is applied as Do not murder. Killing Saddam is not murder, it is a state judicial system exercising the authority and responsibility given it by its people. Without justice being served, every man feels that he must take justice into his own hands and the result is anarchy.

I'm still undecided on that one....He was found guilty ....but.....He is so very funny !!! When he gets mad his beard flares....I can't stop laughing !!!! On the other hand if they are to put him to death than why are they starting a new trail for different charges.....will they kill him and then bring him back to life to kill him twice??? I know that he is probally guilty of the horribile things he was charged of doing....but wouldnt he be punnished more by being put in a las vegas show four times a day (8 times on saturday & sunday) 365 days a year?

He killed enough people to in many peoples minds that believe in the death penalty it is right for him to die. If you don't believe in the death penalty its wrong. Killing him I believe will cause many more problems over there. To let him live will I believe cause many more problems over there , there is no end to the stupidity. Most people are out of minds, so in the long run it all has to go and blow up into some more stupid things. It's all screwed.

Yes, he does deserve the death penalty. He murdered many people, including his family, and raped many women. He was nothing more than a paranoid serial killer on a grand scale.

No. That was nothing more than a pre-ordained verdict handed down by Bush's puppet court. There was nothing fair about that trial... they quit even trying to make it look like it was fair.
