No. Speaking from years of experience, every time you shave,
1. It grows back faster.
2. It grows back thicker
That's not healthy for normal follicle function.
Waxing is not advisable, because the chemicals interfere with the natural balance of the skin, which will result in progressed aging of the skin. That's fact. You see all the models and supposed experts who tell you it's a good thing, it's not. In all frankness, your best bet to maintain pubic hair it to use a thin comb, comb away from the body and snip with a scissors. Be sure to wash the scissors with hot soap and water each time you do this; preferably once a month if your hair is really thick. I wish you all the best in your decision.

It is safe to do, but be sure you use lots of soap or shave gel; you don't want to do a dry shave. You may also get some itching as the hair grows back in, or some pimply areas where hairs ingrow. Both usually get better with time.

The hair that grows through it while it's healing will not hurt the tattoo. You should wait till it's fully healed on the surface to shave it. Surface healing takes about two to two and a half weeks. To heal all the way through takes about six weeks, unless perhaps you are diabetic. Then it could take a little longer.

Yeah, its safe. Just be careful to shave with the hair ( no in the opposite direction) Also, get some sort of shaving gel to stop bikini bumps. These are ingrown hairs that can be extremely painful. Be careful and don't plan on using the razor again.

I assume you mean pubic? Sure it's safe. You just have to watch out for cutting yourself in some very painful places, and ingrown hairs once the hair starts growing back. Try some Nair, it's easier, adn you won't get cut. But, you might get red and itchy for a day or so, same as with shaving.

I found this on the Cosmopolitan website, and it should answer your question. As follows:
How do I shave my pubic hair?"
My guy wants me to shave down there. Is it safe, and what's the best way to do it?
Shaving your pubic hair is as safe as shaving any other body part. Plus, going bare down there has certain pluses: You're more sensitive to stimulation, and the feel ‑- not to mention the sight ‑- of a manicured mane can send a guy's libido skyrocketing. Whether you do the shaving solo or make it part of foreplay and have your man help you defuzz, take it slow so you don't nick the sensitive skin.
Before you start to shave, trim the hair with a manicuring scissor. Next, take a warm bath or shower to soften the remaining pubes so they are easier to remove. (Covering the area for a few minutes with a warm, wet washcloth will also do the trick.) Then, smear on some shaving gel or lotion, but be careful not to get any inside your vagina.
When you're ready to start shaving, get into a comfortable position. You can lie on a towel with your legs spread if your guy is helping you out; otherwise, stand in the shower with one leg on the edge of the tub. Make sure you use a new, i.e., sharp, razor and hold the area taut with the hand you don't use to shave so the razor can glide easily. If you have sensitive skin, you'll lower the chances of getting ingrown hairs or razor bumps if you shave in the direction that the hair grows. You'll also have to figure out how much hair you want to remove. You can simply tidy up the region, leave a landing strip or go completely bald.
If you decide you like having a cropped private area, you may want to consider other pubic-hair removal techniques, such as waxing, electrolysis or laser hair removal. While shaving is the cheapest solution, it requires the most upkeep, and the less-than-sexy stubble that results from regrowth can be pretty itchy.
