Those who have used bareminerals, do you like it? Does it wear off? Does it give a flawless appearance? What are some things you don't like about it? Is it worth the price?

OMG. It works great. You cant even tell that you have any thing on your face cause you cant fell it. It makes your face look its absolute best and If you have pimples it covers them very well. I honestly can tell you that it is worth the price. There is only one thing I dont like about it which is if you wipe you face if tends to come off, but not very much.

I bought the Bareminerals powder foundation and found it too iridescent, it was too pearly/opal like, and looked "fake," not like a natural glow. I will say that it actually offered plenty of coverage which I didn't expect from a sheer powder. It evened out the pink areas on my face. I would not recommend it unless you have excellent skin and are only using it as a highlighter. If you need coverage (and therefore have to use more) you run the risk of getting that opalescent look I mentioned. Believe it or not you can actually feel the powder on your face, so don't fall for all that 'au natural' talk. Liquid foundation felt lighter. It did seem to last a while, a full work day, I had a matte face for hours. Go to a Sephora near you and test it out on your skin. You might like it or find something completely different. I use Armani's Silk liquid foundation, its the best thing ever. Its so sheer but covers so well. Doesn't make me break out.

I have many friends who use Bareminerals and my advice to you is, DON'T! All of my friends' faces look cakey no matter how natural and sheer Bareminerals are. You can always see powdery flecks and you can definitely tell they are wearing foundation in direct sunlight. I actually tried it myself before and HATED it because it looked so flakey and hairy on my skin. When you top it off with the mineral veil, it's even worse! Not to mention how messy the application is across your face and your vainity table! It's like throwing powder across your face which is basically what it IS. That's why it's so effortless and SEEMS so flawless and natural. You might as well use flour. The BEST powdery foundation ever is from Shiseido. You will love it! No one can ever tell I'm wearing foundation, yet my skin looks absolutely flawless with an even skin tone, no visible pores, and no redness! Been using it for over 7 years without having to switch to any other foundation because no other could persuade me to do so.

OH MY GOD!! this makeup is by far the best makeup out there.
It defintely gives you a flawless face without being to made up. It looks very natural but has maximum coverage. Yes, it is very much worth the price. I have oily to combination skin and have acne, and it has changed my life b/c now I actually feel great when I put on my makeup. There are so many good things to say I would be typing for hours!!!! Hope this has helped you in making your decision.

it is good and looks smooth like a liquid foundation however it doesn't cover my blemishes fully so it doesn't give a flawless appearance. It does last all day though and doesn't wear off. But, I'd save the money and just invest in a liquid foundation and concealer that covers blemishes more than bareminerals such as laura mercier concealer and MAC liquid foundation.

I LOVE BARE ESSCENTUALS!!!! I have always had problem skin & I have found that this does NOT contribute to the problem... It does NOT feel heavy or tacky, which is good for me because I have oily skin.....

I use the following...
Multi-Tasking Bisque (spot concealer for extra coverage) prn (as needed)
Bare Minerals SPF 15 Foundation (Medium Beige)
Bare Minerals Tinted Mineral Veil
I use "Warm Radiance" All-Over Face Color then "Golden Gate" blush over that for a natural bronze tone
And as needed I use the "Meet the Browns" eye kit....

It is worth the price. The only thing that I don't like about it is thast it runs out very quickly and ends up costing you more oney. It is completely worth it though. Just follow the steps and viola your blemishes are covered xompletely. You can't even feel it on your skin. It doesn't sweat off or smear.

It is truly amazing. It looks totally natural and it's so thin you can't feel it. It lasts well on your skin, but it doesn't last so well in the container. It doesn't rub off like liquid or pad foundation. You can wash it off with water, and it is so nice for being in public. You can walk around without feeling like people are judging your skin. It hides pink splotches really well even with a thinner layer. It is TOTALLY worth it!

I use it and I like it because it's a powdery foundation that doesn't make my skin flake. The key is to not use very much powder on your brush. It doesn't take much to cover up big blemishes. I would recommend using the sheer mineral Vail over your foundation because it takes away any shine there might be.

I use it and I love it. It looks natural and covers nicely and does not cause breakouts. A cool tip: You can mix some of the foundation with some of your facial moisturizer and you get a great tinted moisturizer that gives a natural and dewy look.
