Mouse has a mind of its own and is running up/down left/right sides of screen.

If you have an old mouse (one with a ball in the middle of the bottom) then you have dirty balls and rollers.
If you have an optical mouse (red light on bottom) then you're probably running the mouse on a reflective surface, like a mirror, glass top, etc etc.

Yeah, it might just sux now, you should probably switch to an Optical mouse

Your mouse is worn out. They do wear out. Buy a new one.

yea mice do that you need a new mouse pad, black ones typically confuse those things and the shiny ones do too

unplug and plug the mouse from you pc and restart it, if it don't work replace your mouse
