Wow, lots of info:

I think it is extremely unlikely that you are pregnant.

If you have a UTI and have been given antibiotics, make sure you take them as prescribed. If the doctor gave you those antibiotics without doing a urine culture and sensitivity test, you may be on the wrong class of antibiotic.

Back pain can signal that the infection has migrated from your bladder up through the ureter to the kidney. This is called Pyelonephritis (Kidney Infection). It is not uncommon and can be one-sided or on both sides.

The antibiotics can make you feel nauseous, it is the most common side-effect of this medication.

In any case, please return to your Doctor and let them know what is going on with you. You can go to a walk-in clinic if your Doctor cannot see you quickly, or go to the hospital emergency department if the pain becomes unbearable or if you have any blood in your urine.

Keep taking the antibiotics till the doctor tells you to stop. Drink plenty of fluids, especially Cranberry Juice. Take Tylenol to help with your pain, but please see your Doctor ASAP so that you can get on the right medication or to rule out anything more serious. If untreated, kidney infections may lead to permanent damage to your kidney.

Ectopic pregnancies are not all that common, but get a pregnancy test (by a doctor!) just to rule that out! I had an ectopic pregnancy (a pregnancy in the fallopian tube) that ruptured when I was 19 and I nearly died!! I was told by one doctor that stress from recent life changes; job, marriage, move, needed medicating...he gave me valium!!!!!! The second doctor gave me a muscle relaxer telling me that I probably strained a muscle moving furniture!! This happened many years ago, however, and doctors are much more likely to check for ectopic pregnancies now. Again, just to be on the safe side and rule that out, or anything else that may have been easily overlooked when the UTI was discovered. A follow up visit is definitely in order!!

I came back to read some of the other answers this morning....LET ME BE PERFECTLY CLEAR: having a 'period' and/or using protection is NO guarantee that you're not pregnant. What I thought was a 'period' was HEMORRHAGING, and no birth control is 100% guaranteed. If you continue to have problems, insist your doctor check for ectopic pregnancy!!

The most common symptoms and signs of ectopic pregnancy include:
Sharp pain in the abdomen or pelvis
Signs of early pregnancy
Vaginal bleeding
Tender abdomen
Diziness or fainting and generally not feeling well
Always consult your physician for a diagnosis if you experience any of the symptoms of an ectopic pregnancy.

How is it diagnosed?
The diagnosis of an ectopic pregnancy can be difficult. Your doctor may perform some tests to help confirm s suspected tubal pregnancy. These tests include:
Pelvic exam
Blood tests
Ultrasound
Culdocentesis - determines if there is blood in the space behind the uterus
Laparoscopy - a telescope is inserted through a small incision in the woman's abdomen. This allows the doctor to see the fallopian tubes and other organs. This takes place in an operating room with anesthesia.

1. If you had normal periods the past two months it is highly unlikely that you are preggers
2. Get a pregnancy test at the drug store, if for no other reason, to reassure yourelf
3. How long have you been on antibiotics and did you take them ALL? Call your doctor with your symptoms. It sounds like you still have it.
4. In the future, empty your bladder before and after sex. Always wipe in the direction AWAY from the vagina

If you have had two normal (not unusually light or short) the odds are incredibly low that you are pregnant, especially since you were having protected sex. Take a pregnancy test if you like... they are highly accurate if you follow the directions and it will ease your mind. The antibiotics you are taking will not mess up the results.

Antibiotics take a few days to kick in, and in the meantime you will still have symptoms. A UTI deeply sucks, and I sympathize with how you feel. If you don't feel better by the time the antibiotics are gone (take them until all of them have been taken, btw) go back to the doctor and see what's up.

You have a UTI which is causing the pain and nausea etc. That is common symptoms for a UTI. It will take a while for the antibiotics to clear up the infections. In the meantime drink several quarts of fluids to help flush the bacteria out of your bladder and take pain meds for the back pain. If your symptoms don't clear up in a few days go back to the doc as they may need to culture your urine to see what bug is causing your UTI so they know what drug will take care of it.

You have a urinary tract infection will cause your back to hurt because of your kidneys. Just continue your antibiotics until they are gone if you dtill feel the same way go back to the Dr. I was diagnosed with UTI 3 years ago and it ended up being kidney stones. Good Luck

Kidney infections cause back pain. The way you spell, I'm guessing you're a young teen, and probably don't need to be having sex in the first place. Was the sex worth this worry that you might be pregnant?

You may be pregnant, or it could be that the medication is causing nausea, most antibiotics do. they also causes yeast and bladder infection so you may need to get treated for that. Happen to me before and I also work if a Doc's office so I see it first hand.

Your not pregnant, back pain is the first symptom of a UTI, there is a special medicine for UTI back pain, turns your pee orange, but helps a lot, call your Doctor, and have him phone your pharmacy a prescription, they can do that, so you don't have to go back to the doctor for it.

you ought to call an ambulance. Their paramedics are knowledgeable to settle on in case try to be sure a doctor. in case you ought to get to an emergency room, i could recommend that. are you able to call somebody to take you to the emergency room? This sounds like something that desires scientific interest. it particularly is no longer a typical area of being pregnant.
