Get a baby-sitter and go to the salon! Get your hair done, and make-up. Get a mani-cure, pedi-cure. Treat yourself! At least do one if you can't do it all. You have to take care of yourself every now and then or you will end up looking and feeling 10 years older than you are! I always feel better about myself when I get my hair done. I spend 2 hours in the salon and more money than I would normally to get a good job done on my hair. In the end I feel sexier and just better about myself with a new haircut and color. I am a mom of an 11 month old and 5 months prego with another so I know how you feel. You don't have to spend all day away from your kids, just an hour or 2. Just do something that will make you feel pretty again.

As a single mother of 5 I have little time to pamper myself, but I understand what you're feeling. My youngest is 9 months old, my oldest is 8 years. What I do when time allows, is take a long, hot, bubble bath it's one of those "I'm worth it" things that makes me feel good inside. The light of your beauty should always come from within. Playing with your kids is a great form of exersize, and you don't need all the "extra's" to look good. A natural glow can be just as attractive. Get an easy to manage haircut possibly toss in some highlights to give it a little something extra that won't take any time out of your day. Wear clothes that are attractive without being too form fitting. Instead of spending time to apply everything in the make-up case, just do the things that make the biggest difference. I find that all I need to feel dolled up is a little eye liner, some mascara, and lip gloss. Put some style into your scrunchie, but a regular pony tail works for almost any occation. Remember, above all else: you are a mom, so you are always beautiful!

Beauty comes from the inside - 'That ol' line!' but its true. Take the time - even just 10 mins to pamper yourself. Important to know that others probably dont think of you as 'not pretty'. I love seeing women that are enjoying their babies and it gives a different glow to others too.
Treat yourself to a new outfit/lingerie/hair do or anything else that takes your heart . Maybe an afternoon relaxing with a couple of girlfriends over a glass of wine may be just the chill out you need to remember that you are beautiful.

It sounds like you can use a romantic evening out with your partner. Have a very close family member like gramma help with a little babysitting. Planning something out is a good motivator to pretty up your self. If you want to feel and look prettier more often. Then communicate that to your partner so he can take over once in a while so you can have some well deserved time to yourself. Not to mention a well deserved break.

Sounds like you really need a ME day! Find a babysitter and go out and pamper yourself. Do some shopping. Have your hair and your nails done. Go out for lunch with some girlfriends or other moms. You need to do something for yourself every once in a while. Motherhood is so consuming, and if you don't make time for yourself, you're going to be overwhelmed and crazy! Good luck! I hope you start to feel better soon!

it sucks having kids that close in age my kids are now 10.5 and 8.5 but when they were toddlers i NEVER DID anything FOR ME!. They drained all my time, money, emotions. I gained a lot of weight let myself go all my energy in every way went to them. I did not lose weight start doing for me untill they both started school. It gets SO much easier when they can bath themself and grab some food by themself clean up after themself. It's just plain HARD when they are little and close in age. My advice get a babysitter go out buy YOU SOMETHING go get your hair done. It helps to get away from it even if only for a hour or so.

I have had two kids in the past 3 years. I know what you are talking about. My oldest is 25 months and youngest is almost 6 months.
You have to get out of the house and MAKE THE TIME for yourself. Schedule the trip to the salon and take care of you. It is very important.
If you don't take care of you, no one else will. Also, treat yourself to a new outfit, even if it means buying clothes that you plan not to be in for very long because you may be dieting to lose baby weight.
If you don't take care of yourself, it is very easy to slip into depression about your body and looks.

What is stopping you from taking "me" time? Most Churches offer a mothers morning out, take advantage of that.
If not, feed the baby and the toddler, put them down for a nap,
give yourself a facial, a deep condtioner, or even color your hair.
Most babies can take a 2 to 3 hr nap. Forget about laundry, dishes, etc. take me time.

You could also be exhausted. Take care of yourself. Absolutely find the time. MAke the father watch them while you get your hair done etc. Buy a new piece of clothing. Close the bathroom door and take a long bath.

glad there are some great moms out there. I highly suggest going tanning. I love it. It is about 8-10 minuts of pure joy. This is waht i do. My hubby goes with me to the parlor, and sits in the car with my kids. Then I go in and tan for about 8 minuts. It is inexpensive and makes me feel good. You can also tan for like 5 minites if you don't want to get dark or anything. but the heat feels so good, and relaxing. Also going to the rec center for a swim is good to. But more time consuming. good luck.
