i cannot stand having hair that fell out on me. nor can i have any hair on blankets, pillows, coats or other pieces of clothing, and the carpet.
i always have to take time and get all of it off then i can go on with what i'm doing.

Hating hair that falls out would qualify as an obsession. Your compulsory cleaning of it would qualify as a compulsion. This doesn't necessarily mean that you have OCD because there are several other guidelines that you need to meet, but if you think it gets in the way of your life it might be a good idea to go see your friendly neighborhood head shrinker.

I wouldn`t call it a problem unless it is causing u anxiety not to do it. After all, who wants to find a hair in their food or see hair on someones clothing that is standing in a food buffet line, but if ur compelled to do hair picking while in another persons home, for example, ur visiting someone and u see a hair on the floor or carpet, them I`d say yes, u have a problem. If u do this just in ur home, I wouldn`t be too concerned, maybe fallen hair is as repulsive to u as toenail clippings lying about r to others. We all have our little compulsions to some degree.

If you have to stop what your doing because the hair bothers you so much, than yes it is a small problem. Its not a big deal though I think you can learn to live with it. Unless it happens when your driving for example. That would put you and others in danger. Then you would need to see a doctor. I think behavior modification therapy would help.

You sound like you have some sort of obsessive behavior about hair for some reason. I'd try to figure out where this all started, maybe in childhood? It's a problem when it interfers with your life or the lives of others in your life.

sometimes people start obsessive habits and feel compelled to repeat them if it relieves anxiety. It called obsessive-compulsive behavior. However, its not a problem if it is not affecting your life. to some extent we all have a little obsessive compulsive behavior.

A person who can not keep a secret is displaying some obsessive-compulsiveness. they will not be able to stop thinnking about th secret until they share it with someone else.

it would be a problem if you were not able to say go to a hair salon, or if you had children play with them out of fear their hair fell on you, or whatnot. Being clean is not an issue, but if you have a severe psychotic reaction to hair, then its a problem.

That is called the mode of Goodness in Vedic terminology. Hair is considered unclean. It is best to not have it on or around us. (except on our head) IT attracts ghosts. So its a good thing. Just don't get in anxiety over it. want more info on Vedic knowledge go to http://www.stephen-knapp.com

It is a problem IF you think it is a problem, in other words, if it interferes with your daily life to such an extent that you feel upset about it and would like to get rid of this condition. If it does not bother you, its not so much of a problem.

sounds a bit phobic, or obsessive, could be a pet peeve.
If doing this affects your ability to function properly or safely then I would consider seeking professional guidence
