I don't know. Maybe they think Americans will like these lame shows...

Actually, there are a couple of good shows from the BBC that have been shown in America. One is still on the air, it's called "Keeping Up Appearances" (look for it on your local PBS station) and one is no longer on, but was really funny, it was called "Absolutely Fabulous".

They only show british shows that they think the american audience will watch, they wont show classic british tv for the ex pats living in america because they worry americans will not undertstand them.

only fools and horses, open all hours, casualty, the bill the list could be so long but they are a business and since they took eastenders off i dont watch it much, but peep show is great as was the robinsons.

That's a good question b/c I've watched their show "Bump -n- Grind" and I swear they make the UK dancing abilities look stuck in 1980's. I watched one eppy where they didnt accept a guy who danced the "White boy dance" but let a woman who pole danced go on to the next round. There are some good shows however, like Spaced, Peep Show and Footballer Wives.

I don't know.I was so angry when they took EastEnders off that I hardly ever watch it now.And it seems like every other show has Robson Green as the star.I mean I like him but enough is enough.Bring back EastEnders!!
