You might experience relief from your symptoms within a few hours of your first dose, but use the full three days' worth of medicine.

Yes, the infection can come back.

Common causes of recurring vaginal yeast infections include increased pH, increased heat and moisture, allergic reactions, elevated sugar levels, hormonal fluxes, and reductions in the populations of bacteria that are normally present. These causes can generally be traced to a few categories of culprits, including (but not limited to) antibiotics, artificial dyes or perfumes in toilet paper, soap, etc.. laundry detergent, clothing that doesn't "breathe.." Hormonal fluctuations, particularly around that time of the month.. and your diet.

Recurring yeast infections are quite common. People say that eating yougurt can maintain a healthy balance and prevent the infections.

Monistat usually starts working right away. Like the same day. I usually eat a lot of yogurt if I get an infection and that helps too. You will almost always get a yeast infection if you take antibiotics. It's also a good idea to stick with cotton panties so as not to build up the bacteria.

IT SHOULD HAVE STARTED WORKING RIGHT AWAY, BUT SHOULD BE CLEARED UP WITHIN THE 3 DAYS, IF IT ISN'T YOU SHOULD SEE YOUR DOCTOR, BUT YEAST INFECTIONS CAN HAVE AN OFFENSIVE ODOR...IF YOU HAVEN'T BEEN DIAGNOSED IN THE PAST WITH A YEAST INFECTION BY YOUR DOCTOR YOU SHOULD GO SHE HIM FIRST TO MAKE SURE THIS IS THE PROBLEM AND THERE ISN'T AN UNDERLYING PROBLEM...GOOD LUCK OH AND YES THEY DO COME BACK...CAN BE QUIET OFTEN I HAD A FRIEND WHO USED TO GET THEM EVERY MONTH...

It should clear up in about 3 days, if it goes longer than 5 you need to see your doctor, and yes it can come back.

at least 3 days... considering it's a 3-day treatment. If that doesnt do the trick... see your doctor.
