What do u think the best way to "punish" him? He is surely guilty for killing so many people, but when i see his face when the judge read the death penalty, i feel sorry for him...as u can see he's poor, very2 thin n look very old...he has no power at all...no one to depends on...
If you guys on his position, what would you do?

This isn't his punishment. His death penalty is a consequence of being too dangerous to live! You can't give him what he deserves without being like him. Best thing to do with excrement is bury it and walk away from it.
As far as his changed behavior, you got to be kidding! If its too good to be true, it's not true! Leopards don't change their spots.
And as for the courts - all we have to work with here is mortals, there's always going to be problems. Don't throw the baby out with the bath.

Of course the courts are real. Even Hussein however deserves the rights to an appeal, and another appeal and so on and so forth. This judgement doesnt mean he will be hung in a week or a month or even a year, it simply means that his current situation doesnt look good. When he is killed, and he will be, it will be years down the road. Too bad its not today!

IF they are successful in carrying this out within 30 days they will show the United States how to conduct death penalty sentences correctly. I wish the United States would kill its death penalty clients within 30 days and spend that money for other things.

magnificent question!! i individually desire the dying penalty for assorted murderers, toddler killers and tyrants like Saddam. regardless of if, if the dying penalty weren't an determination in his case, a outstanding punishment could have been to maintain him in a cage interior the midst of Baghdad, Iraq, with basically sufficient nutrition and water to proceed to exist. Then the persons he terrorized and tortured ought to do what they needed with him; a great form of issues.

First of all, Sadam has an appel left. Second, I think he would suffer a lot more in perpetual captivity to the natural end of his life. In many countries, the family has to support the imprisioned person or they starve. Let that be his plight.

It is most likely going to cause a blood bath and wholesale revolution between the Sunni and Shites. The bad part is our troops are going to be caught in the middle of it, taking it from both sides.

I think it is a real Kangaroo Court and that Saddam will be saved on appeal due to Republican monkey-dealing with him during the Bush I days. They don't want to exit Iraq with a real Sunni uprising on their hands.

It is the best thing that could happen to him but I'm a little confused as to why it took so long for the court to come to that decision.

It is well deserved and long overdue.
Does it matter if their courts are for real? Is there any doubt in the mind of any rational human being that Saddam is guilty of crimes against humanity?
Hang 'em high!
