It really bothers me when people say "O" (the letter) when its really a "0" (The number).

Is it politically to say "o" instead of "zero"? What you think?

cause were lazy and "0" is two syllables and "O" is only one. thats how lazy our stupid fat country is.

The ratio is something like 85:1 (forget the exact number) of how many times people use the letter O every day vs the number 0, so hence the use of O.

It's a shortcut. The last letter of the word zero is an O.

0 is alot easier to say then zero ......... its just faster

when relaying a telephone number, I believe "oh" is acceptable
anything else should be "zero"

'O' is easier to say. Unless you are in the army. . . In which case, it is much easier to say it correctly.
