I thought it was "Sha-VON", but couldn't remember...thanks.

You should spell it the CORRECT way: Siobhán. If people have trouble pronouncing it, it's an easy explanation. It's semi-unique and a name that I like. It just doesn't translate very well to English and French (I'm in Canada and would rather my kids' names be bilingual.

Sha-von is a pretty name but I'd go with a different spelling than Siobhan. The child would have a hard time with it when learning to read and to spell it, and it will go through life always having it's name mispronounced.

i only know 1 siobhan and we pronounce her name as sha-BON
