Personally, "yes". I tire of the hate speech and willful desire to violate the civil rights of other Americans just to try and make themselves look and feel special.

It's gets very old as well to watch these folks not get it that they are really rather creepy. To use their terminology - sinner's.

They are not special, or holy, or "washed clean". Who do they think they are fooling? It's a religious game to where they can feel special because they pray a prayer, or sit in a big room together. In the real world (rather than the "dream" world) - what they do to people, how they act, and what they don't do, is just as tangible as any other persons actions. They affect people. But evangelicals feel they are above the frey and just haven't matured enough to realize they are the same as any of us - just "regular old people".

Frankly we are ALL "special" people. We all deserve protection of our civil rights without laws being controlled by religious mobs out to feel more elite than others.

Perhaps the saddest thing here is that evangelicals are living the same kind of lives that us regular guy's are. They have the same amount of sex with same sex partners, and inhale just as much pot as libertarians, and attend strip clubs and hire just as many prostitutes if not more than the regular guy... Along the dark side, they molest just as many children as your standard criminal, and rape as many people, and steel as much, and are just as racist and greedy as the next guy. I would go so far as to say that they even live on the darker side much more than the regular guy because the more you hide from "the dark", the less control you have over it.

These Evangelicals are ripping society off. They are causing hell for everyone else, yet enjoying being able to hide in their closet's while partaking in the very liberties they claim to abstain from.

All this because of the silly dream they indulge in that they are special. That may be, but that is in THEIR minds - not in "god's eye's" either - their minds. The rest of us see through all the religious mental gymnastics. And yep, it gets old. It's one thing if they just want to play their games in church, but when they try to take over the country it gets seriously creepy and very sick.

Totally. I dont have a problem with religion of any type. People should be able to believe what they truly believe. The problem is certain politicians use peoples beliefs in order to further other issues that most of these people look past. This has been going on for centuries and its disgusting.

definition of religion - a faithful practice or on a daily basis of your beliefs - everyone believes in something.. everyone does something religiously - maybe your religion is rock n roll? maybe it is something else... rhetoric - is the art of persuasive speech - i am not tired of religious nor am i tired of rhetoric.

Very much so. There is supposed to be separation of church and state in the US. Other countries may view it differently, but it would be best IMO if our leaders did not involve their personal religious beliefs in how they run the country.

I'm tired of the hypocrisy of people on the left pretending that they are not religious and/or that they are not trying to force their religion on anyone else. Alledgedly only the conservatives try to do that.
