my friend had sex with her boyfriend using withdrawal. then, she fears she's prego. she wakes up early (5am) to get to school but wants to sleep for a few minutes. she doesn't vomit in her first week. she usually gets fat easily even before her first sexual intercourse, and her stomach decreases a bit when she doesn't eat too much. she doesn't urinate frequently. her bowel movement hasn't changed. when she came back home from school, she had a mild headache since it was too hot outside.

so, is she prego or what?

Tell her to wait until it's time for her next period and take a test. Not all women experience morning sickness, so just because she isn't vomiting, doesn't mean she's not pregnant.

She's tired because she gets up at 5 am, and I am betting she goes to bed late.

If she is worried about being "prego" then she needs to take a pregnancy test. Oh and if she isn't, then she and the boyfriend need a crash course in sex education. Even if using the "withdrawl" method, she can still get pregnant, there is sperm in precum, the only surfire method to prevent pregnancy is to NOT have sex until both are mature enough to handle the responsiblity of birth control, either by using condoms, pills, shots, patches, etc.

Oh and by the way, if a boy tells you that a condom just doesn't feel right, well, take his hand, and tell him, "here use this then, no condom, no sex".

None of these symptoms can be definitive to pregnancy. The vomiting/nausea doesn't usually start until the 4th week. You didn't indicate what time your friend went to bed, but its not unusual for anyone to be sleepy at 5am. The getting fat pertains to menstral cycles many times or teen cycles. This doesn't neccessarily pertain to pregnancy. She does need to increase her fluid intake(not cokes, etc......WATER) it could produce other problems even without pregnancy. And the heat can sometimes produce a mild headache. Continue to monitor the menstral cycle. The other first symptoms of pregnancy will be breast tenderness, nausea/vomiting, changes in tastes(food) and increased sensitiviy to smells.

It's too early to tell. If she's that scared she can get the morning-after pill from a doctor as long as it has been less than 72 hours (three days) since the incident. Otherwise she'll have to wait until her next period is supposed to show up to use a home pregnancy test.

Dont second guess what it is - just go get a test from the chemist or go to the doctor and get a test done. If she is pregnant then she needs to find out now so that she has a chance to adjust her habits to keep the baby healthy.

If she is not pregnant then she needs to tell her boyfriend to use a condom or go on the pill herself. If they keep using withdrawl then she will end up pregnant much easier!

There is an easiest pregnancy test without going for any tests to determine pregnancy. Just press your nipples and see whether any watery liguid drop comes out of nipples. This is how women in some parts of india used to detect pregnancy at early stages in India.

Ive had 2 children I NEVER vomited or had morning sickness with either. However if its only been a week its to hard to tell if however her period is late she should take a test. next time tell her to buy condoms they arent expensive and if she's old enough to be having sex she should be mature enough to purchase condoms!

She should probably take a test to be safe. I would say that she isn't. There are many other factors that could contribute to her being tired.
