Idgie and Ninny from Fried Green Tomatoes?

Question

I dont like the end of movie when it implies Ninny and Idgie are the same person. I like book better since they are diff people. Now I LOVE the movie.
Some people say are the same person. Some say different. So what do think;

1) Ninny and Idgie are not same person
2) They are same person

I think Ninny wasn't the same, but I do think she put the honey jar on the grave as if she was Idgie. In the beginning she says that she remembers when she was a little girl something about Idgie and her family, but the movie sure does imply that Ninny is Idgie which I hate as well. All I know is Kathy Bates is HILLARIOUS in that movie! TAWANDA!!!!!!!!! Face it girls, I'm older and have more insurance.

no if you watch it shows the honey pot on the grave....it means that they are not the same and idgie is still running around out there!
