Yes, he's gay. did you see his new haircut? It looks a lot more gay than his hair beforehand. (I have nothing against him, or new hairdos).

Yeah, he came out recently and Isaiah Washington got in trouble for calling him a hateful slur against homosexuals. Patrick Dempsey apparently defended him. Maybe that's why he wasn't in this parody of the shower scene:
