It could be a problem for sure. He needs to see his doctor who is familiar with his medical history and who is qualified, trained, and licensed to give medical advice. People on this site are not.

When was his last BM and was there anything unusual about his last BM? If he hasn't had a decent BM lately he may be impacted. If it is just a small amount of liquid I wouldn't worry to much tonight but call his doc in the morning and report it so they can decide if he should be seen or just watch it.

Sounds like he's constipated...Each time he goes he's having a harder and harder time? You may need to give him a sapository. It will soften up his stool and it will be much easier for him to move his bowels. If you can't do it, bring him to you family doctor they should be able to help you out........

he doesnt have spray farts does he?
if its salty the orderly didnt clean up enough.
but hey, check it out. if its clear then he probably had a lot of water to drink. its not green, so hes probably okay.
watch out though, cause next time he rips one youre going to have a huge anal lugi to clean up. good luck
