Sharapova is the best bet considering Amelie snd Justine's health. We have to be aware of the fact that Henin and Mauresmo are in the same group.

Maria is on a roll, she would be my bet. Justine is bothered by something even though she says shes not injured. Mauresmo just stopped playing the last few months I don't know what her problem is,,, Go with the Blonde Chick shes hot on and off the court.

maria sharapova is the girl.lol..the 'hottest' favourite..however,nadia petrova may also surprise us..justine henin-hardenne is my third choice..amelie mauresmo?not deserved to win it although she has 2 slams.and she just lost to nadia petrova!!!

I'd go with Henin-Hardenne. Even if she doesn't win, I think she will close the year as #1.

IF Henin is healthy and I assume she is because she is playing I would pick her. She likes the surface and has been winning or at least having very good results in all the big tournaments she has been playing. I would consider this a big tournament.
