I have a friend who is looking to sell some things. He lives in Michigan but for the past few years he has had things in storage in California. There large items and nice. He is tried of paying the storage fee but it's to expensive to move them to Michigan. How can he sell them on ebay or find a Ebay store to sell it for him??? Any advice would be helpful.

Have him go on ebay and contact a person local to the items and see if they would act a sales agent for him. He could arrange a percentage of the sale as a price, or sell them outright for a percentage less for them to buy the stuff from him. He should only allow them to see the items when he or someone he trusts is available. What kind of items?

You could look in a phone book for eBay sellers. If you decide to open an eBay account, and THEN an eBay Seller's Account, you will have to have either a credit or debit card. You go to eBay (www.ebay.com), and open those. You work on listing the items that you wish to have for sale, and go from there. When you list items on eBay, however, there are fee's that associate with the listing. It is all up to you how expensive you want the listing to be. I would recommend also setting up an account through PayPal
(www.paypal.com) for safety and security reasons for both the buyer and seller. If you go to an eBay seller (store), there are also going to be fee's associated with that as well. I hope this helps you out some!

Maybe a friend in Ca can help pack & ship or have big items available to be picked up by successful bidder?

There are sellers agents that can sell them for him, though he'd have to get to california and unlock the storage area.
