Please Please help me, Its my wife!?

My wife and I have been married for almost a year, been together for 2 years. The problem is lately she is getting really annoying. I have had a hobby for awhile now, for as long as she has known me, but now she wants me to stop. I collect Jar Jar Binks collectables, and pretty much everything else to do with Jar Jar (I think he's so funny). All I ask is for her not to interfere. And a few times a week I like to wear my Jar Jar costume and walk around time bringing joy to others. I do things like dance for people, I help angry commuters calm down by dancing in front of cars that are stopped ay lights. I go into stores and make funny noises and throw potato chip bags around. Its light hearted fun. My wife says I'm acting like an idiot, and I should get a job. She flips out whenever I buy an expensive Jar Jar collectable. And she acted like an insane woman when I suggested we use the jar jar costume in our lovemaking. I'm glad she works so many hours a day. Should I divorce her?

You are not going to like this but...she should divorce you. You don't have a job??? You are spending your(her) money on these collectibles and expecting her to be okay with it. Plus, going out in public? Yes, it is a tad crazy. Sounds like you have an obsession with Jar Jar! Throwing potato chips? Dude, you have lost it big time! And the love making idea? Get some psych help-soon! Or your marriage will be history.

I say she is justified in her thinking. If you were my husband, I would think you are an idiot too and you need to grow up (sorry, but you have warped into the twilight zone with the whole charade). It is one thing to have a hobby, but when yours has overtaken your life that is another story. Your only hope is to tone down your "hobby" or find a new wife who is as in love with Jar Jar Binks as yourself. Personally if I had a Jar Jar Binks dancing around in front of me that would piss me off, not calm me down. I think you are the one being annoying, not your wife.

To each his own. She knew you were into this when she met you, I certainly wouldn't stop now. I would however get a job and support your hobby yourself. You can't expect her to happily do that for you.
Have you tried including her in your hobby? Does she have a Jar Jar t-shirt at least to accompany you on your dancing outings? Find a way to involve her and quit making her feel like she comes second to Jar Jar. Good Luck.

uh...she should be the 1 asking if she should divorce you!!!!you do sound like an idiot to me. you called her annoying? sounds like you got her beat!!! but....its her fault for this situation,she shouldn't have married you. but I'll tell ya why she did..she thought marriage would change you and make you a more serious person...silly her!!! if all you do is play around with "jar jar"...you do need to get a job & grow up!!! this is real life here & being "jar jar" doesnt get bills paid!!! its not fair for her to be the only adult in your marriage, you are taking your "hobby " too far...it is interfering with you alls life & thats not fair...and how dare ask to bring the freakin' costume into your love making...its your hobby..not hers...get a grip!!!

Personally, I rather have my husband dress up as Yoda when making love, that's much better than Jar Jar. Those big ears and green skin get me HOT. 'S exy, you are.' Big t*ts, you have', he tells me. I refuse to have sex with him unless he's dressed this way. What person in their right mind DOESN'T get turned on by Star Wars? COOOMMMMEEEE OOOOONNNN. So yes, by all means divorce her, something's mentally wrong with her if she doesn't like the idea of bringing Jar Jar into the bedroom.

No you should not divorce her BUT she should divorce you. This is just part of who she is. You have to remember that when we date and the things that we do while dating each other are cute or tolerable. WHY? Because we don't have to put up with it UNLESS we are sharing rent and a bed.
Once we get married we enter into a different phase in our lives and, for your wife, JarJar Binks is a part of that phase that should not dominate your married relationship. You are not contributing to the finances and spending money that you have not earned.

Fella ... there will perhaps be no need for u to file for divorce. I am sure that if you continue to carry-on as you are (and very much to her dismay)... then she will be the one to divorce you ! And if i am reading your story correctly ; you are jobless! Why shouldn't your wife be as upset ? It seems you are going as far as possible out your way to put a smile on other people faces and make them happy . But, it's your own wife's unhappiness that's means nothing at all to you !! I really have a problem understaning that !???
And as far as you being glad she works so many hrs. It seems, what other choice does she really have but to work as many hrs if you're not working at all and instead allowing yourself & time to be totally consumed by your foolish hobby ! Man... get real !!

you sound like your acting a little like an idiot. why do you have to be so extreme with it? hopefully you are a grown man and grown men can collect things but thats it. what with the dancing in front of cars? i just hope someone doesnt get annoyed with you and run into you. what a way to go haha

Are you serious????? Man get a life and get a job. She should divorce you. Not only are you in public acting like a loony ,but you expect her to make love in that crazy getup? Get real will you! Get some help, you really need it.
