If ghosts are supposed to be souls or whatever what are their clothes? Is it conceivable that there could be just ghost clothes? You know like...when they shower? HAHAHA. sorry.

not sre that there could be only ghost clothes, but anthing is possible... i mean if you can have other ghostly objects like ships, cars, bells etc. then why NOT clothes right?

That's a really good question, I don't think I've heard it before.
Ghosts primarily have the appearance of clothing on because they are echos of their life before death (so, in less the person ran around naked all the time, some type of clothing would be evident). But, unlike those of us still alive, they don't get the change clothes, or even take them off. If you haven't noticed, other forms of spirits don't have clothes--for instance--poltergiests, negative energy, those orbs and light streaks, and the things that look like smoke--none of that has clothing of any type on, because they were never 'alive' in the same sense we are.
I hope I didn't confuse you more than help you!! I just don't know the technical names of all the different forms of spirits (SORRY!)

First of all there is a difference between ghosts and souls. Ghosts are just a part of your imagination and therefore are subject to your own interpretations. So if in your subconscious they are supposed to wear clothes then they do.
Also I have known of people seeing naked ghosts (hehehe).

Yeah, I had heard that when you die is how you will look as a ghost.So if you die naked or with your pants down that will be embarrassing for as long as you're a ghost.Some of it doesn't make much sense. If a person dies in an explosion are they a 1,000 or more pieces floating around etc.Maybe it's all special effects anyway.

Think of it more as an image .. or an ISO if you will, of their former existance. They don't get up in the ghosty morning and put on their ghosty clothes and have ghosty breakfasts.. some are more like an echo of what they once were.

I would assume they would want to appear modest in front of other ghosts? If you were a ghost, would you want to see everyone naked? Think about it if no humans wore clothes! Plus it makes them appear more educated!

Not funny. But I will answer this as if you were being respectful to the spirits. They appear to those who can see them in a 'normal' way. I actually witnessed a spirit who, in life, was only allowed to wear skirts. She laughed and showed me her jeans. No, she wasn't someone I knew. Not everyone can see them, this is not a fault of yours, but it is passed through bloodlines. If you were able to connect with spirits, I think you would be more respectful.
