Republicans have a wonderful knack for making people feel good about them, even though they are genocidal and destructive anti-moral degenerates.
The best thing about Republicans is that they are causing many people of all stripes to pull together to kick them out and save democracy. People are fearful of the dismantling of the US Constitution, of the upcoming laws which prevent people from traveling without permission from the government, of the wiretapping of phones and computers, of the 2007 National ID card which will have infra red tracking.
Citizens worry about imminent domain and the 800 brand new concentration camps that the conservative right has complained are placed around the country and up and running with staff already. The Republicans have painted a smiley face on all of this and now it's gone to far. Join your fellow Americans, even the Neocon's Christian Conservative Base for vigils at the polls. Monitor what happens when you vote in the hackable, glitch-filled Republican voting machines. Help everyone take America back.

the only bush bright spot was attacking Afghanistan for attacking us. but then with his obsession with getting Saddam for his daddy and the Saudi Arabians he ended up screwing Afghanistan along with everything else he has done,Katrina,Iraq, the borders, education, prescription drugs for seniors, dam i guess that means he has done nothing for this country unless your rich.and all his republican suck up buddies have been supporting him doing nothing.so i would think that's a very good reason why they are so unpopular these days.

Only time will tell. We need to distance ourselves from current events to gain perspective. Will Bush go down as the worst ever or courageously brilliant? Its really too soon to say, but If I had to put money on it, I'd say "worst ever".

Whether you admit it or not, the economy is booming. AIDS research has never received so much money. Unemployment is as low as it can go (not bad considering our large illegal population). Those are just a few. But, overall, I am disappointed.
If you ask me, people are fed up with both parties.

It is the fact they don't allow any dissent, even within their own Administration. If you can't ever admit mistakes, the people will turn against you eventually.
