I saw on the news the other night about how TSA is having a shortage of employees, and they are offering some type of training program. How do I go about finding more info? I went to the TSA website but couldnt find anything about the news story that I heard. Did anybody else hear about this??

You need to find out if the airport nearest you is having a testing period if the TSA is needing more help there. Go to usajobs.com for some info. Its a big process getting hired on with all the testing, background checks and the like. You could take and pass the test, go through all the background and medical testing, and not get hired untill months later. Thats how it works. Its a tedious process. You can't owe alot of money to anyone, and have a clean law abiding history.

Go to the nearest airport and ask to speak to a TSA Supervisor. S/he will give you informantion on how to apply, or may even take your applications at that time.
