i just had this done on the 16th of Oct. and did not have any vaginal bleeding, but had a little discharge which my doctor said was normal. i did not even have any pain afterwards except a little gas pains but that is normal because the pump you up with gas. good luck.

I had a TOTAL hysterectomy three years ago, I had no bleeding. I woke up to the most horrible hot flash ever, I am 36. I tried to do it hormone free, but then decided to use a low dose or premarin.

I am sorry to hear that! My grandmother had a vaginal hysterectomy and she said that she had some spotting for a couple of weeks. Good luck and I will be praying for you!!!!

there typically isn't. If you do have some... ask your doctor, as it could be sign of an infection. check out www.webmd.com for health info. Good luck!
