I heard this legend in reference to the blues legend Robert Johnson and the classical violinist Paganini but never in reference to a rock musician or group. I wonder about Jimmy Page and Mick Jagger though. They were heavily into satanism. Maybe they made a "deal".

i have heard that before, but i dont beleive its true, 'The Eagles' were actually fairly into Christianity suprisinlgly, sono i dont think they relly did, just somehting devil worshippers make up!!
