How Can I learn to play the drums without actually having a drumset??

Dude! Gimme a break! u can't learn to play drums without actually having a drumset. Buy a low cost drumset if you could.

Set up different things in the position in which a drum set is set up and try and hold a beat while using certain items....and go from there.

the drummer in my band simply got some drum sticks and some peices of hard rubber from a hardware store

My friends little brother used to play with two butter knives as sticks, and he used laundry baskets, plates, cups, candles, the end table..etc. Good luck!

Learn the beat...practice keeping time...tap with your foot....and go from there
