It's not really that ridiculous of an idea as it sounds. Some local theaters in the slums of town show movies in exchange for bits of string, bags of milk, other food items (especially meat), and various other useless supplies. It's not heinous to think that paying for tickets at a movie theater with monopoly money would work.
