You've discovered the real tragedy of being human. You are aware of your mortality. You know your ticket is punched, you just don't know where the ride ends. It's a real source of fear: the uncertainty of the certainty. But just be aware EVERYONE has to deal with it. Get your first kiss, get first chair in band, have kids and a career, get as old as you can get. The ride WILL end. But you're the one who decides how much fun it will be.

Very good question, i often think, "whats the point of getting good grades in school, then suddenly something bad really happens, and i might die" lol so like i mean, while you have life just live it the best you can. You're gonna have obstacles, but thats what makes it so ineresting. Life is really fun, i think the minute you stop taking it serious and live like the person your heart truly wants you to be, it can be simple...

I use to think that way. It is actually a very intelligent question. Because we do not understand what real purpose is in life. We are not in the real world. We are in the illusory world called Maya. We are eternal spirit souls. We do not die but the body dies. Whatever our actions are in this life determine our next life. If we do good actions we get good karma or reactions in our next life. IF we do bad one we get bad reaction. If we want to stop the cycle of birth and death. We have to stop all good and bad action. So one may think do I stop acting? NO IF one does all of their actions as an offering in consciousness of God then their is no Karmic reaction. If one engages in a purification process and at the same time does all actions as an offering to God then at the time of death all karma will be purified and can if they desire go to the eternal spiritual abode where there is no suffering birth, death, old age or disease. Everyone is blissful and happy there. This process is called Bhakti- For more info go to http://www.stephen-knapp.com for universal truths get the books The Universal Path to Enlightenment. and- HOw the Universe was created and our purpose in it

I hope you feel better. I feel like that alot too. But one way to look at it, is to live like there will be no tomorrow. Let people know you love them all the time, help people out there that need your help. Try something new, learn something new.

sometimes depression or sadness is just a sign that you need to change something in your life. For me, i tend to isolate tooooo much, and then i get depressed. Being around others, even strangers, takes me right out of that sadness and lonelyness.

Exercise also helps me feel better. Fresh air, or just re organizing myself and my house.

the thing that helps me most is helping other people. even if it is just opening a door for a stranger, or feeding a person on the street asking for food, or doing something for someone i love.

take care

So that when you are on your death bed you can reflect on a life well lived and have no regrets - that would be the worst thing I could think of - knowing you have wasted opportunities and wasted parts of your life

I actually think this question answers itself and is a no brainer - I'm the opposite to you and want to accomplish EVERYTHING important to me and then some.....life is far too short not to make the most of all of your talents and strive for new ones.

Carpe Diem and cheer up!

To get a sense of satisfaction if you are not satisfied with your current life. I am heading for perfection. How 'bout you?

If you are accomplishing things that you are not interested in, not the things you want to do, you might come to this conclusion.

My advice:

Try to do the things that you like, life will be better.

In my opinion, that's just it. You're going to die, so why not do something with the time you have? Would you rather die thinking "I accomplished something" or would you rather spend your last few moments wondering why you never did anything with your life? (Well.. like i said... my opinion)

What else you gonna do with 80+ years.
Not to mention if you do some research you will find evidence of reincarnation & karma. How do you explain child prodigies except that they follow their lifes passion in every incarnation until they are born virtuoso's...and possible even evolve out of this time loop of reoccuring death...What IF!

because you live for about 60 years and its a long.... time i bet you want to have fun and live it as best as you can, make someone else happy and easier to live this 60 years if you would sit in your house all day doing nothing you would end up on the street... and you would get so so bored...

If you've got all those years ahead of you, why not make the best of them? You feel much better about yourself if you accomplish something.
