I breed the fish using a child's wading pool about 42" in diameter. When they are ready, they will find each other. I use 6-8 inches of water and a lot of floating plants.

somebody replaced into basically asking this the day until eventually now immediately. basically like 2 men will combat to the dying, so will a male and a female. additionally, in the experience that your pal needed bettas, he/she might bypass out and get some on his/her very own. stay animals at the instant are not birthday provides, except the recipient is with you and choosing out the animal themselves and all you're doing is paying, and that remains basically after the recipient has achieved plenty and lots of learn so as that they understand for specific they could look after that style of animal correct. you won't be in a position to easily marvel somebody with a puppy; this is a typical way for animals to finally end up homeless and loss of life from the two euthanasia at a safeguard or, as is lots greater possibly for a fish and likewise greater stressful, ignore.

You shouldn't put them together in a tank, but you can keep them in a tank with other kinds of fish, as long as they are no other bettas in there.

You should never put 2 bettas in the same tank. They will kill each other. Unless you want to breed them, then find out when they like to reproduce and follow it from there. Otherwise, keep them apart. I worked in a pet store so I know this.

you may put a male with a female in together, only as long as the tank is big enough 2 have room 4 her 2 retreat 2, you can also put males in together only in a large tank as the males will fight but not 2 the death and the looser will take off and hide, a male will only kill another male when the looser has no where 2 hide and get away, but it is not best 2 put a male and female 2gether until she is ready 2 spawn, but you may also put females in with other females but just not a couple due 2 the pecking order and you may put males in with other fish but ask at you local pet store due 2 different fish are available in different areas

You should NOT place a male & female betta together until BOTH are ready to breed and you have a breeding tank set up. If you place a ready female with a male who is not ready to breed she will kill him.

You can keep one or the other in a community tank.
