im gonna have to go with any given sunday i loved that movie sort of like how a nfl players life is just a little more dramatic

I love ALL football movies, but by far my favorite would have to be the original Longest Yard with Burt Reynolds.
Other greats, Remember the Titans, Friday Night Lights, Any Given Sunday, Brian's Song, Heaven Can Wait, Rudy, Radio, etc, etc, etc.

My favorite football movie is The Program with James Caan. I love that movie. I also liked Friday Night Lights. It showed some really good blocks and tackles. Also, worth mentioning was Varsity Blues and RUDY! Aww that movie was awesome. Oh YEAH, also the new movie out is REALLY GOOD! Invincible with Mark Wahlberg about Vince Papale. I'm adding that to my football dvd collection!

The Longest Yard with Burt Reynolds as the QB. The remake was embarrassing to watch and was without a doubt the worst football movie ever. Well next to that piece a tihs Rudy..

any given sunday, is a cheap hollywood over the top of every football stereotype. for a real look at football, that did not glamorize or preach watch NORTH DALLAS FORTY, is an older movie from the late seventies. the characters are real, no good guys no bad guys. just reality from many players point of view.
