I just don't understand it. So, enlighten me. What motivates one to get even very sensitive areas of the body pierced?

beacuse they think it looks kool i have a snake bite yew gonna tell me off .... i have 20 piercings n im only 14 so what its peoples opinion

It's an excuse to flaunt the young chiseled body. Some try to shock you as if the body is being mutilated. Some piercings are meant to titillate the imagination or lack of it.

Body piercings amake them feel a part of the in-crowd. It could also represent an major event in ones life.

I had my navel pierced. Why I worked out for 6 months to get rock hard abs and wanted to bring attention to them that summer when I was in my bikini.
