I've read somewhere that Malaga CF had one UEFA Cup participation.I'd like to know when was that?

Malaga did play in the UEFA Cup once, in the season 2002-2003, after winning the Intertoto Cup that season.

First round, vs Zeljeznicar (Bosnia)
0-0, 1-0 (1-0 aggregrate win)

Second round, vs Amica Wronki (Poland)
2-1, 2-1 (4-2 aggregrate win)

Third round, vs Leeds (England)
0-0, 2-1 (2-1 aggregrate win)

Fourth round, vs AEK (Greece)
0-0, 1-0 (1-0 aggregrate win)

Quarter finals, vs Boavista (Portugal)
1-0, 0-1 (1-1 aggregrate. Boavista win 4-1 on penalties)

The UEFA Cup as it is now named began with that name in 1971. I researched all teams that even participated in the qualifying rounds and found NO mention of Malaga CF. Sorry
